Holiday Cottage Braemar Morrone Cottage

Holiday Cottage Braemar Scotland - "Morrone"

Morrone is a fully renovated and well-furnished traditional stone-built house and holiday cottage set in the mountain village of Braemar in Scotland . The House and attached Cottage retain a traditional feel and are both spacious and comfortable with full double glazing and gas central heating. Open fireplaces and stoves, traditional mahogany dining furniture and décor of the highest standard blend with such features as a newly fitted kitchen, free broadband internet access and modern appliances throughout. Morrone House and Cottage, Braemar are therefore perfectly suited to hillwalkers, shooting and fishing parties, families and those looking to simply relax on holiday, eat well and sleep soundly where the only noise at night is the owls at the bottom of the garden and red deer in the autumn.

The house and holiday cottage are secluded and are situated in the village of Braemar at the top of Chapel Brae. We have large gardens and our own private back gate that opens directly onto the moor and down to the river Dee. There is easy access to shops and bars in the village and of course to skiing and hillwalking in the Cairngorm mountains, golf on the highest 18-hole course in Britain, fishing, Royal Deeside castles and stately homes. Being on the edge of the village of Braemar , Morrone Cottage combines easy access to shops, restaurants and public transport, as well as the great privacy and quiet of the moors and hills which surround the house. Before the fence was recently repaired, a local red deer stag was a regular visitor to the Morrone Cottage garden!

The house and cottage therefore offer flexible accommodation for parties ranging from 5-13 people.
