Welcome to Morrone Cottage in the heart of Royal Deeside
‘Morrone’ Cottage is a newly renovated stone-built house and cottage set in the mountain village of Braemar. The accommodation on offer retains a traditional feel and is both spacious and comfortable. Open fireplaces, traditional mahogany dining furniture and décor of the highest standard blend with such features as a newly fitted kitchen, broadband internet access and modern appliances throughout – Morrone is therefore perfectly suited to hillwalkers, shooting and fishing parties, families and those looking to simply relax, eat well and sleep soundly where the only noise at night is the owls at the bottom of the garden.
The house and cottage are situated near the River Dee, with easy access to skiing and, hillwalking in the Cairngorm mountains, golf on the highest 18-hole course in Britain, fishing, Deeside castles and stately homes. Being on the edge of the village, Morrone has the advantages of easy access to shops and public transport, as well as the privacy and quiet of the moors and hills which surround the house. Before the fence was recently repaired, a local red deer stag was a regular visitor to the garden!
The house and cottage may be rented separately or together as one large property – please see Morrone Cottage Details.
