The house and holiday cottage are situated near the River Dee, Braemar, with easy access to skiing and, hillwalking in the Cairngorm mountains, golf on the highest 18-hole course in Britain, fishing, Royal Deeside castles and stately homes. Being on the edge of the village of Braemar, Morrone Cottage has the advantages of easy access to shops and public transport, as well as the privacy and quiet of the moors and hills which surround the house. Before the fence was recently repaired, a local red deer stag was a regular visitor to the Morrone Cottage garden!
