Conditions of Let
- Rental Period. The rental period commences at 4pm on the first Sunday of the rental period and ends at 10am on the final Sunday of the rental period. The property will be vacated by the tenants at the end of the rental period.
- Deposit. This is due at the time of booking. Balance of rent is due 14 days before the first day of the let. In the event of a cancellation your deposit cannot be returned unless the property can be re-let for that period.
- Cleaning. The tenants shall at all times keep the property clean and tidy. Any additional cleaning that is required will be charged for – though we are not unreasonable and prefer to be told about any damage.
- Occupancy. The number of people occupying the premises must not exceed those agreed at the time of booking. Please be courteous to our neighbours and refrain from causing any disturbance or nuisance.
- Parking. Please be extremely sensitive about the interests of our neighbours with whom we share the access drive. Where possible, please park unneeded cars in the nearby public car park (100 yards).
- Children and Pets. Both are very welcome.
- Smoking. Please refrain from smoking inside the property.
- Security. Braemar is a safe place to come on holiday – nonetheless, please undertake to leave the property locked if unoccupied during your stay.
- Bed linen & towels. These are not provided, with the exception of linen for the super kingsize bed in the house.
- Electricity and gas. In the main house, we charge only for gas. In the cottage, we charge only for electricity. In either case the relevant meter will be read at the beginning and end of the let and you will only pay for what you have used. .
- Tenant(s) Responsibility. It is a condition of the letting agreement that these conditions are complied with. We reserve the right to terminate the let if these terms are broken by the tenant(s)
